novus•lumen•design was born out of a desire to help a friend start a fresh, new chapter in life. She wanted to start a beauty consultant business, but needed a polished presence on the internet to which she could send people interested in her services. That effort to help out a friend gave me exposure to others interested in website design and layout. Thus, I started novus•lumen•design as a side project to help people realize affordable and results-oriented web and print projects.

novus•lumen•design believes visual media (whether print or web-based) should be:

• Fresh: In the midst of competing voices, you want your media to be originally compelling. I seek to help deliver your message in media forms that are relevant and fresh in order to achieve the results you want.
• Intuitive: Any visual media must make sense and clearly convey the desired message. If the media is complex, cluttered and confusing, the message will be lost and people will not leave with the intended understanding. novus•lumen•design promises to create media that clearly conveys and helps people understand your specific message through web and print.
• Creative: How will your ideas stand out from the onslaught of media clutter unless they are creative and innovative? Whether digital or print, I pledge to bring a hightened level of creativity to graphically communicate, frame and expose your message and services.

pricing

novus•lumen•design is willing to work with you and your budget to create what you want for a price you can afford. At this point I am pricing project separately based on the size of a project, work involved, and level of skill sets needed. I charge $35 an hour usually for around 20-30 hours worth of work, depending on the project. Final prices will vary, though, based on your project needs.

Once we establish a price for your project, you are asked to pay 1/2 of the total cost at the beginning of the project and the rest upon completion. This will assure me that your are committed to the project and keep me accountable to completing your web and print needs.
